Really doesn’t bring much around with him. She doesn’t care that she is dead and sleep is super easy for them, she is going to be comfortable. I can totally see her having a bed with like 20 pillows too. Some are band, some movies, but most are from the various movements of the time, especially if they tie back to Second Wave Feminism. She totally has some posters from the 60s-70s as well. She loves that shit and no one can convince me otherwise. Books everywhere, anything she can get her hands on to learn more about government and history is her gig. This stubborn old man has yet to upgrade to CDs. His favorite is an old record player though. Got some old junk he has collected over the years as well, but since he has been around for so long, he definitely has some neat stuff that could probably be sent to a museum. He’s got shit like the half naked chicks poster, maybe some horror flicks and films.
Assuming the later, he would absolutely have bought like the cheesiest pirate flag to hang on his wall for humor’s sake. Listen this goes one of two ways, either it is so barren that the only reason you know someone lives there is because there is a couch and a bed, or an absolute cluttered mess Maybe a few books here and there for when he has some free time. Definitely has some black out curtains to make sure his havens stays a safe place during the day. 10 bucks says he has a lava lamp just for the hell of it. Beyond that, probably some things he’s collected over the years. Probably old band posters from the few concerts he managed to go to before things got real busy for the Anarchs. He’s been in there for a little bit, but he just doesn’t decorate much outside of some posters and maybe a dart board He would probably have very little in his Haven.
He likes to keep his surroundings looking alive, it’s the only thing he has left. It’s meant to arouse and intrigue and set the mood. It’s comfortable and classy, there’s neon signs and beautiful art everywhere… it’s not a practical home, it exists to be an extension of Velvet Velour. Deep crimson colors, silks, arousing paintings. Comfort > aesthetic, though it does get messy often since he’s just got so many notes and things to research.
When it comes down to it, though, he prefers muted colors and simple patterns. There’s a lot of dust too, he’s never at his haven. His haven is papers strewn about the place, maps pinned to the wall, books stacked and stacked on top of each other.
